Big M asked why he didn’t get a smiley face on “Day 3″. I explained to him that it was asking for what came next in the pattern. He said he did write the pattern. Yes, I guess he did.

K has been perfecting drawing faces for a couple of months and so she draws one fairly easily now. J has only started drawing faces within the last 3 weeks, but it seems she’s drawing them the same way as K.

I am excited about this one because Big M said he wrote it by himself. The teacher told them to sound the words out and write. Phonetically spelling things is just awesome! We’ve been working on reading, but he hasn’t really written words without copying.
